Ways to pay for care

What can pay for care at home

Five ways families cover care with AAA Home Care. Many families use more than one.

Nevada Medicaid

Nevada Medicaid and the managed care plans we are contracted with: SilverSummit Healthplan, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicaid, Molina Healthcare and CareSource. We also work with SCAN and The Helper Bees.

TriWest for veterans

AAA Home Care is contracted with TriWest Healthcare Alliance. If your loved one's in-home care is authorized through TriWest, we can provide it. Call us and we will tell you plainly whether we can help with your veteran's coverage.

Long-term care insurance

We work with long-term care insurance policies and can help you understand and use your available benefits.

State waiver and county programs

We are contracted with Nevada's waiver programs and other state and county programs, including ADSD Waivers, COPE / PAS and Clark County HHHA.

Private pay

Flexible care for families who prefer to pay directly. No referral needed, and no long-term commitment.

Caring for a family member?

Through Nevada Medicaid, eligible family members can get paid to provide the care they are already giving.

Common questions

Questions families ask about coverage

My plan or program is not listed. Can you still help?
Call us. Contracts change over time, and we will tell you honestly whether we can provide care under your plan. If we cannot, we will say so rather than leave you waiting.
Does insurance cover transportation?
Many of the plans we work with do not cover transportation, which is why it is not part of our standard care plan. If your plan or policy permits it, we can include rides to appointments and errands. We confirm this before care begins.
What is the difference between home care and home health?
Non-medical home care, which is what AAA Home Care provides, covers personal care, homemaking, companionship and respite for people who need help with daily activities but do not need clinical treatment at home. Skilled home health involves licensed medical professionals providing nursing or therapy. AAA Home Care is a licensed personal care agency.
Can we pay privately while we sort out coverage?
Yes. Private pay needs no referral and no long-term commitment, so care can start while we help you understand what your coverage may pay for.
